At Finazon, we understand that each user has unique data needs. That's why we've designed our platform to offer you full control over the datasets and features you subscribe to. This guide will walk you through the process of customizing your datasets on Finazon, ensuring you get exactly the data you need, when you need it.

Understanding Finazon's dataset structure

Before proceeding with customization, it's crucial to comprehend the structure of datasets on Finazon. Our data is provided by third-party publishers or directly by Finazon. Each publisher associates with different datasets, which can range from equities and crypto price data to news and various other data types.

How to customize your dataset

1. Select your dataset

Start by choosing the dataset that matches your needs from the Catalog. For instance, if you're interested in real-time US stock quotes, you would select that as your dataset.

2. Specify your parameters

Once you've chosen a dataset, the next step is to specify the parameters you're interested in. This varies among datasets and can include data delays, API calls limit, historical calls, additional data features, and many more.

3. Choose your delivery method

Finazon offers several delivery methods for your data, including API, WebSocket, and more. Choose the method that best fits your technical capabilities and your data's intended use.

4. Review and confirm

Before finalizing your subscription, you'll have a chance to review all your customization choices from the bag. Make sure everything is as you want it, and confirm your subscription.

Tip: You can add as many datasets as you want to the Bag and check out only those that you currently need. The remaining datasets will stay in the Bag, allowing you or another team member to return to them later.

Why Customization Matters

By allowing users to customize their datasets, Finazon ensures that you only pay for the data you need, saving you from sifting through irrelevant information. Customization also means you can tailor your data feed to align perfectly with your app, analysis tools, or models, making your work more efficient and accurate.
